• Artist Statement

  I decided to go with a theme for this piece that really reminded me about my childhood. In the picture there is a singular fish and around it there are ripples in the water. To me the ripples show how one may affect the world. I wanted to show how a simple action affects the world in an abstract way, I figured metaphors would be the best way of showing that. My process consisted of me setting up lighting and then taking the photo. I did not do any photoshop on this piece.

• Creative Statement

  Exploring and expressing creativity comes in many forms such as photography. Photography is a medium that I feel like I can work with in many situations. It helps me express my feelings towards myself and the world, I can make direct commentary on stuff I want change, then changing it.
