• Artist Statement

  As my mom was getting ready in the morning, I saw her reflection through the sliding glass door. The sun was just beginning to rise, so the lighting made the image feel eerie.

• Creative Statement

  Through photography, I am able to express myself in ways I normally can't. There is something extremely powerful in capturing one moment in time; the emotion and feeling conveyed sends a message to whomever is viewing the image and I can express how I feel as well as remember the memories I make.
