• Artist Statement

  This was me attempting to capture the joy I saw in my friend’s face because of the beautiful view that lay in front of us, as well as showing a bit of that view, and all while using natural lighting. There’s a lens flare, but I actually like it, as, to me, it makes the photo seem more spontaneous and true to life, even if it may not be perfectly polished and edited.

• Creative Statement

  My mother worked as a photographer for many years and taught me everything I know about the art. She also got me my first camera, which I still use today to capture stills of real life moments whenever I think they’re important enough to keep.
