For many people the Crane docks are an iconic aspect of Oakland, to kids they are dinosaurs. I just finished taking the ferry from San Francisco and saw the sunset overhang the cranes.

It helps me mentally. Taking pictures is very calming. Night photography is my favorite because it shows the beauty of what is often feared.
