During my camping trip with my family, my friends and I had the idea to hike up to the beach and watch the sunset as a way to celebrate our last day on this trip. This seemed like a perfect opportunity to photograph some happy moments hanging out with my friends, and after trying to capture the perfect angle with the sun in the background, the photo turned out extremely well with a few edits on Lightroom.

I often express creativity in finding different perspectives to typical items in my life. When I capture ordinary events or objects in an imaginative and dream-like way, it enables me—as well as my audience—to see a whole different world in the form of what might be considered “dull” or “boring”.
