Prior to the creation of my piece, I detested micro-fiction. I couldn't comprehend why people enjoyed the overly condensed format and I was jealous of people who made strong works with such low word count. Drafting repeatedly, I found an appreciation for fewer words. Micro-fiction taught me that where there is inadequacy in skill, there is room for tremendous improvement.

Creativity allows for the expression of self and exploration through untraditional means of communication. Rather than solely using words, people can understand each other through the extension of creativity inside of them.
