• Artist Statement

  With everything that has been going on recently: storms, flooding, natural disasters. This is one way that reminds me of it, even though lightning is much brighter and bigger, and causes damage and fear. Seeing it in a bottle makes me feel much more powerful than the bright light in the sky. This isn't about lightning.

• Creative Statement

  It shows me that there is way more to life than you can see. Just living everyday seems so normal and boring but if you try something different then maybe it's something you'll enjoy. Earlier this year I learned that I really like taking photos in dark settings.
