Like I have said in past submissions, I believe it is always important to have a song that you should look forward to learning in the distant future in order to stay motivated with your instrument. This song has been that motivation for almost 2 years now and I am happy that I am able to submit a cover that I am happy with. After going through a pretty rough start of the year, I lost all motivation to work on any of my passions for a very long time. My guitar playing took a hiatus for pretty much all of summer and the fear of seeing how much worse I had become because of that caused me to not pick it back up until around winter of this year. I decided that it would be time to learn this song no matter how hard it would be and I practiced countless hours every day to not only get back to the skill level I was once at, but I would say even surpass it. This song means a great deal to me and has some of my favorite solos ever recorded; It brings me great joy that I am able to now share it through my own playing.

It allows me to create things that will hopefully connect with others who feel the same as me and hopefully begin creating as a result of that connection. The satisfaction I get from inspiring others fills me with joy and only an even greater enjoyment in the creation of art.
