In a world where "selfies" and filters dominate photography, I initially set out to take an honest self-portrait. However, I found the transition between the "self" that is presented on social media and my raw and vulnerable self to be more interesting. There are two faces captured in one photo, but just one me, regardless of what it is you see.

Emotions, ideas, dreams, and fears can all be explored through art. It is risky, brave, free, made up and real....all at once. It gives me a way to release all that lives inside me.
