Photography is not just a hobby for me, it is a way of looking at the world. It trains you to look for beauty everywhere you go. It starts to become an internalized habit after a while. Instead of noticing people's flaws when you are around them, you notice their best qualities. The pictures I take are meant to capture moments that I spend with my loved ones. They are a way of connecting with people. I like to take pictures that portray the emotion and beauty of the person or scene being photographed. This particular collection is meant to conjure emotions from all areas of the emotional spectrum. The darkest emotions but also the most fun, happy ones. And the complicated ones that are somewhere in-between. I am enjoying playing with things and learning about the art of photography and what my personal style is.

In seventh grade, I lost my entire friend group. I have since made wonderful new friends. But sometimes I have off days. Photography is a way for me to connect with people when I am not feeling up to being my normal bubbly self. And I love capturing the beauty I see in the people I love.
