Grizzly Bears

In ceramics, we researched image ideas for these grizzly bears, taking in and drawing perspectives of top, side, bottom, etc. of grizzly bears from Google. Then, I took it to clay where I used my built-up knowledge and tools that Ms. Munoz taught us to effectively morph my clay into my creation. Next, I coated the bears with a brown glaze and fired the clay at mid temperatures (2157 – 2232F).

It allows me to bring my creative ideas to life, allowing me to think in a different way that is more expressively as an artist rather than a purely focused school mindset.
