• Artist Statement

  This is a digital long-exposure photograph of evening traffic on a major intersection in my hometown. I placed my finger in front of the camera, then focused the camera on my finger to slightly blur the points of colored light in a bokeh effect, while also fixing any overexposure. The stacking of multiple frames in a long exposure allows the colors to streak across the photograph!

• Creative Statement

  At least to me, being creative in life promotes self-awareness and can help one process things in a new way; it brings me closer to myself. Especially through music, utilizing tools such as free improvisation allows me to be okay with any uncertainty in the future, wherever else that may apply.
