• Artist Statement

  The square frame of a camera humanizes the world. As I attempt to bring my passions for sociology, journalism and photography together, a single image captures the multidimensional reality of the world without words. My work focuses on finding hints of inclusivity and sympathy in times of isolation. I encourage my viewers to consider the narrative behind each image; to find lines of similarity instead of focusing on division, seeking moments of pure human connection, and stepping aside from the label “viewer” to consider themselves part of the image, part of the puzzle. I aspire to produce work that reminds the world of its humanity, and to encourage viewers to seek unity instead of division.

  Creativity is about identity; giving the chance to those around you to see the world through your eyes. It cuts to the heart of the human experience: connection.
