• Artist Statement

  My piece is a digital work using Procreate, with key focuses of light and time. I wished to depict a manner of time travel via the dancing figures- each has clothing of a different era and a seasonal theme. In the process I played with the contrast of light and bright blocks of color on dark figures, and detail vs abstraction.

• Creative Statement

  I could not live without it. It's in the stories I tell in my head and on the page and out in life's mundanities. It's standing in line at the grocery and wondering what stories the untouched packs of gum and gift cards would tell, or the colors which inspire me to create and express myself.
