My artwork journey started when there was this one time in photography class when we were lectured about botanical photographers and how they took plant photos in black and white, and at the same time captured tons of detail from the plant subject.
I was inspired by these botanical photographers and began trying to create photographs that would match their detail and quality in my work.
More about what I learned in class would be I learned how to turn raw images I have taken in class into Photoshop and turn them black and white, and adjust how light or dark the image is.
My goal when creating artwork in general is to prioritize and optimize the quality and detail of every artwork I make and edit. I want the viewers of my work to be stunned and mesmerized by the beauty and detail that goes into my work. Different objects and mediums give me inspiration on what I should capture and edit. If I am creating a black-and-white photograph, I prioritize how dark the darkness is and how bright the whites are. If I am creating a photograph that involves lots of colors, I would prioritize how bright, vibrant, and saturated those colors are. By editing my pictures in such ways, I am sending a message to my viewers that art expresses and defines us. How bright, vibrant, and saturated an art piece defines a person, a time, a place, and many more.

It inspires me to continue what I am doing, what I like doing, and motivating me to explore new things.
