• Artist Statement

  Art medium: Digital film, Sony cx6300

  The photograph of the jazz band captures the energy and vitality of the music being played. The musician is captured mid-performance, their body and instrument in motion as they collaborate to create the unique and expressive sound of jazz. The photograph captures the passion and emotion of the musicians as they pour their hearts into their music, and the purple tones and orange palette adds a sense of timelessness and classicism to the image.

• Creative Statement

  Exploring and expressing creativity allows me to develop new skills and ways of thinking. When I engage in creative activities, I'm often required to think in new and innovative ways, which can help to stimulate my brain and improve my problem-solving abilities.
