• Artist Statement

  I bought a ring earlier this year, and I fell in love with the design and they way the sapphire was hitting the light. When I saw the cut tree, I thought that the orange wood would contrast the green stone with a good juxtaposition. I think that the simple and cool grey background highlights the ring and the wood well.

• Creative Statement

  Art has impacted my life by challenging me. I create art that makes people think and explore new concepts, or make them uncomfortable. For me, I did a photography set with spider webs, while having extreme arachnophobia. Seeing unpleasant thing, impacts me to see the world around me differently.
