Constant

"Constant" was inspired in large part by my own experiences. The paper swan I described was none other than one gifted to my family by my great-aunt. Throughout this story, I wanted nothing more than to portray the way someone can stay with you long after they are gone, even if you hadn't had the deepest connection with them while they were still around.

Expressing creativity is, to me, just as much an escape as it is a firm tether to reality. It allows me to dream up a world entirely out of the one we live in, and at the same time, it lets me make sense of my own views on the world. It truly allows me to sit down and give my experiences meaning.
