• Artist Statement

  When capturing this photo, I wanted my friend to appear like a ghost or someone who is in the state of life and death. I saw a reflection through an empty store and decided to frame her in it. It gives off the illusion of a ghost since the opacity of her and the store overlay. I decided to make the photo black and white because it adds more contrast and has the effect of her looking unreal.

  Creativity means to express yourself through your way of thinking. Being unique, true to yourself, and having your own personal ideas. And turning ideas that have been made already into your own hands with your own twist on it.
