• Artist Statement

  This artwork is a self-portrait, depicting the need to escape yourself and your surroundings. I utilized surrealism to communicate my ideas, and my medium was oil paint.

• Creative Statement

  To me, creativity means being able to express yourself and communicate your ideas and thoughts to the world. It means being able to bring attention to the things that you care about and make meaningful commentary on your life and experiences.
