• Artist Statement

  This photo is part of a larger installation of photos highlighting the multi-dimensional stories and identities of women. My friends and I were motivated to take action after the Texas abortion ban was approved a few months ago. This is a photo I took of a woman's hand. I hope that this photo begins to show that we will never know the full story of a woman from a part of her body.

  Creativity is spontaneity. It's using your imagination and original ideas to produce one-of-a-kind pieces of work. It's not limiting yourself to a box and instead allowing yourself to explore the endless abyss of possibility.
