the abyss and the constellation

The following piece of artwork is inspired by the constellations and the darkness of the sky... the mystery and darkness behind the unknown; yet the piece maintains the elements of creativity and individuality of the eyes-of-the-beholder that looks upon the constellations with imaginations and emotions. I used pen and black paint to make the hard-edged lines of "space," to convey the rigidity; I then used random colorful acrylic paint with loose circles/abstract lines to convey the imagination and cheerful-ness of the beholder's perception.

Creativity means twisting and turning your emotions, your beliefs, and your thoughts into twisted lines and configurations to share to the rest of the world to see; to allow the rest of the world to interpret the curiosity behind your mind and the way you express that on paper.
