Skater Vision depicts just a small corner of the possibilities of skateboarding. Outside of skateparks, there are countless opportunities for skate “spots”. For a skater, the brain is wired to constantly lookout for these highly sought after locations. After all, some of the most renowned street spots in the world were only trite, overlooked architecture until some anonymous skater came along and saw its infinite potential. These three pieces display certain possibilities of skating on the Alameda High campus. In each piece, skating is revealed differently, which represents the multitude of ways to “open” your eyes to your surroundings.

Creativity is something that I believe conveys the way a person thinks. Everyone can express themselves through art. For me, I just try to make art that has meaning to me.
