• Artist Statement

  This project was inspired by different white balance features on the camera, and a gorgeous array of colors caught my eye. They had a little bit of morning dew on them, and I thought the water in addition to the colors could make a beautiful image that makes the viewer feel like they are in nature. I got as close as I could to the leaf in order to still be able to see the leaves in the background. My focus was the raindrops and the leaf and I shot a shallow depth of field to blur the background.

• Creative Statement

  Creativity means the ability to think beyond the boundaries that you set in place for yourself. Creativity is going beyond the expectations to create something that helps expand the thinking of the ones observing the creation.
