This art piece is called Love and Ice. Two girls preforming a routine in a skate session. I came up with this while I was ice skating with my friends. No, I'm not a very good skater but I've always loved it, the cold air and the feeling of air rushing by your face as you skate. The feeling that you could slip any moment, but the adrenaline and excitement because your still doing it and you haven't fallen yet. I wanted to capture that feeling of excitement in this piece. Not only that, I wanted to capture a feeling of joy and love, I'd been inspired by my sister and her boyfriend skating in a video together. They were clumsy where I wanted my characters to look smooth and good at skating but they were happy with each other and just excited to be on the ice together. Now, I don't know if i captured that super well, as I'm not very experienced with art but I drew it the best I could and put in effort I congratulate myself for!
