• Artist Statement

  It was 7:00 am and it was still dark. It was cold for a fall morning. I was walking around the school to try and warm myself up and saw it. The sunrise was absolutely beautiful. I took a picture of it quickly but someone was in the middle of the shot and it was blurry, so I tried taking a picture of it in the lightroom app and despite having a person in the photo it was very well captured and I was very happy with what I created. I still look at this picture and feel the crisp fall morning air and it brings me a lot of joy to know that I can still remember it through this image.

• Creative Statement

  Creativity means to be a out of the box and innovative thinker. To be creative is to be able to do something nobody has thought of or change something that already exists into something better than it once was. To be creative is truly a skill when you know how to use it.
