Happy Place
My family nickname is called Rana which means Frog. I am seen as a funny person in my family. I drew I frog with a clown wig. Next thing I will be showing you is a picture I took on an airplane. That picture was from a flight back home after heading to Hawaii. I have always dreamed of going to Hawaii. Last year, after saving up I went to Hawaii. I went with my family. I had an amazing time although the plane ride frighten me. I am afraid of heights and the fact that I went on an airplane surprised me.
Afternoon Walk
An elderly man has to learn to come to terms with the choice his wife has made regarding euthanasia. John and Carol are taking a walk in the park where Carol brings up Euthanasia, as she has lung cancer. He hates the idea and shoots it down. Later on, he has a flashback about his life and recalls the day they found out about Carol’s cancer. He remembers that she never wanted to even do chemo, and she did that because of him. He realizes then that he has to let her do what is best for her, even though it will be difficult for him. When they are on another walk about a month later he tells her that he supports her decision. This script is unique because euthanasia is still a taboo subject in the US and this script shows the different feelings that come when a loved one wants to be euthanized.
Want
Looking back, my body image growing up felt very innocent; I never thought twice about it. When I moved to Marin in eighth grade, and then started high school, my image of myself suddenly became very different. I constantly noticed my size, people's perception of my body, and the way I looked in certain clothes. I wrote Want at the end of freshman year, when I was at one of my lower points concerning my body issues. Want embodies that longing to look like someone else, but not being able to change it. Want is the binge eating, the fasting, and the counting of calories every day- yet no one notices. I have come a long way since writing Want, but I'm not quite there yet, so the song still relates to me.

Lined Up
This photo was taken in San Francisco at Ocean Beach. The waves were perfect and I made it my goal to get a unique photo. I ended up finding a hill way deep into the sunset district, and when I climbed up the hill I was gifted with this amazing view. To this day, this photo is one of my favorites.
It’s Not Fair
Aria McKenna is an 18-year-old senior who dreams of being a lawyer, this is the story of how she lost her life to a tragic accident.
On an innocent day, a week before graduation, aspiring lawyer- Aria McKenna gets into an accident where she finally understands that life isn't fair, especially after you die.
My script embellished the need to live life like it's your last day. I want to bring new passion into the lives of the readers of my piece, to make them realize that life is short and often cruel.
Bossa Nova
hi everyone! this is a submission for arts review only. Dr. Kakkis is my uncle-I am very proud to bear his name (with an ext. congrats on the youth arts festival in its first year). thank you for the vision to keep creativity alive for teens!!
“Bossa Nova” is a piece I wrote for my cello playing friends. During isolation, getting creative has given me a stronghold in a turbulent time. This piece has a bit of a Latin feel to it, with images of relaxing Brazilian style. My hope was to bring out some fun and humor. Hope you enjoy! -ES

What makes my script Unique and worthy of being a Movie, is the fact that it is a simple story that plays with Dialog in a small space without much action or drama to hold up the script, It is pure Dialog and character.

Constructive Criticism
A pessimistic “plus one” gives her unrelenting opinion on an art museum’s pieces, unaware of her audience. Magnolia has been strung along to accompany her friend Charlotte at a work event. The car ride to the event is filled with Magnolia’s nervous rambling, but when Charlotte persists, Magnolia’s reluctance is no match.
At the gallery Magnolia breaks off on her own, examining each piece. When she reaches one that is particularly unfavorable, she is joined by a man. When that man asks for her opinion on the piece, Magnolia does not hold back, explaining exactly how horrid she believes it is. The man brings her to another piece, determined to get a different reaction, but Magnolia’s artistic eye remains negative. Upon rejoining Charlotte, the auction begins and Magnolia is horribly surprised to hear that the man from before was asking her opinion on his own pieces. The selling begins and not a single hand is raised, that is until Magnolia herself agrees to buy the painting. Constructive Criticism is a lighthearted and comedic piece that can be enjoyed by a variety of age groups. Not to mention that it’s simplicity would make the filming process a breeze. Magnolia is quite the relatable character and she draws attention through her witty dialogue.
Double Take
“Double Take” is a string quartet that I wrote a couple years ago. It was my first time writing for strings and if was fun for me to experiment with articulation, dynamics, and more. This piece starts off angry, but then transforms into many different colors and emotions.
