This is a short piece performed by me and my friends. I recorded it at my friends house for a college prescreening and submitted it recently for UCLA. This piece is in 3/4 time, and contains a section where I improvise. This group of people often gets together to create music, and play other artists music. We have been playing throughout high school for many years now, and coming together and creating art is one of our favorite creative outlets.

My creativity is one of the most important aspects of my life. I spend most of my time playing my instrument, and experimenting and listening to other jazz music. I use creativity as a unique outlet for my emotions, allowing me to express myself in a way that many cannot.
