This is a piece that is very dear to my heart. Of anything I have ever illustrated this is my absolute favorite. The inspiration for this is from a fantasy game I like that takes place in the 1100s and a vintage book cover I saw that had two people laying together in clouds. When I draw it's basically just hours of losing my mind and guessing how rendering and shading works until I have something finished. Every time I illustrate I do it a little bit differently but this time I did a sketch, line art, flat colors, shading, gradient mapping, and a lot of rendering (which is essentially painting over your line art or sketch).
I love drawing. It drives me crazy.

If I didn't express myself creatively I would be more crazy than I already am. It's an outlet and a source of joy for me. Photography encourages me to leave the house, explore places, and really enjoy and look at the details of everything around me, because anything can be a great shot if you look.
