• Artist Statement

  I made this piece with the idea of media being shot on a camera, after experiencing a week with one of my best friends on a disposable camera I decided to express two people playing around with a camera. Using specific pen techniques all of the shadings are done with a mix of felt tip pens and paint pens. The color is monochromatic and it betrays the feelings of calm but also loud and active. It's upbeat and exciting and shows the memory being caught on a disposable camera.

• Creative Statement

  It impacts my life in that I'm able to express feelings, emotions, and thoughts in forms of art, not only visual art but filmmaking, photography, and songwriting. I also get to express my unique style in these forms of art.
