Sliver of Light is a piece about hope and resilience. Especially now, many people face hardships. In our increasingly interconnected world, many stories of hardships and overcoming them are shared, inspiring and motivating others to fight their own hardships or help someone who is going through a tough time. Even through this, there are many struggles that aren't able to be acknowledged by the world. There are people who are repeatedly hit with hardships, and others that are barely hanging on. This piece is inspired by these people and their efforts, even if minimal, to continue.

Each person is unique. We are each like a piece of clay molded from outside experiences. Although we may go through similar experiences, our reactions and ideas are unique to us. Creativity is the conveying of those ideas and perspectives to the outside world.
