• Artist Statement

  I wrote this piece of music as background music for a friend's project on mental health. Since then, I've tacked on many new instruments and inserted new melodies, harmonies, and ideas into the score. The piece describes change, despair, and epiphany as it moves through its various stages.

• Creative Statement

  Creativity is an expression of the human spirit, and art is the ultimate expression. Art for the sake of art is that which gives life purpose and meaning. Creativity is bursting out of the confines that nature gave us and realizing who we truly are.
