The Dome of the Rock is the oldest Islamic monument in existence and it is located in Jerusalem. I created this drawing during a heightened point in the ongoing conflict between Israel and Palestine. I was drawn to this building because of the unique architecture and immense detail the building has. The Dome of the Rock is a sacred religious shrine used by Muslim and Jewish people alike. My recreation of the Dome of the Rock is supposed to represent the shared, common, and peaceful ground between these two groups in conflict, inspiring peace and unity.

Creativity is the ability to create ideas, solutions, and alternatives in a distinctive way by using your imagination. I express my creativity through my art. As a visual person, art is the easiest and best way for me to portray my unique perspective of the world to others.
