Birds Eye is a ballpoint pen drawing where I had to use up all the ink. Starting with the plane in the center of the drawing, I filled the page with different objects from my imagination. I avoided any references so that the drawing would be an unedited imprint of my imagination. Using cross-hatching, I created depth and texture in the landscape. As the landscape travels up the page, it slowly fades to white to show how the objects were filling a blank world, just as I was filling a blank page.

Creativity means taking every feeling, experience, and idea I have had and turning it into something new. Being creative can be as simple as taking a shortcut or as complicated as a painting. It does not have to be physical, it can be a thought or an assumption.
