Circle of Life Mandala

I wanted my mandala to have a nature theme so I decided to use different shades if blue to depict water and I added sea creatures like starfish. When I was sketching the outline of the mandala, I used several circles, which gave me the idea to add faces to my artwork. The other guidelines became arms and dresses which blended into and became part of the ocean. There was still lots of empty space so I decided to fill it with rabbits. The center of the mandala is a lily pad with a pink lotus. I decided to make this the center of the work because it is a circular plant, and circles represent the circle of life, because plants are alive.
