Two Worlds

Tharuki E.

  • In this piece, I explored the theme of duality and the complexity of human relationships. The man and woman, depicted as equal and powerful figures, are shown facing opposite directions, symbolizing the differing perspectives and experiences that can exist within a partnership. Through the use of contrasting poses and the tension created by their separation, the painting speaks to the idea that while two individuals may come together, they will always maintain their own unique identities and ways of seeing the world. The painting aims to convey that these differences need not be a source of conflict or division, but rather a source of strength and beauty in a relationship.

  • Exploring and expressing my creativity has a profound impact on different aspects of my life. It helps me to develop new skills, improve my problem-solving abilities and boost my self-confidence. Additionally, it gives me a sense of accomplishment, fun and joy, contributing to my mental well-being.
