Manipulators

Lina K.

  • I love reading fantasy and fiction books, so I took this opportunity to write a short scenario that I would include if I were to write a nonfiction book someday. It flowed naturally since I just started wherever felt right, in this case in the middle of a confrontation between the main character and the villain. It ends with a cliffhanger of sorts when the backup arrives, because that is where I felt I could stop writing while not rushing a disappointing, unrealistic, and out of place ending.

  • It allows me a way to express how I feel. If I struggle to convey my emotions by talking, writing gives me a chance to let go of what's on my mind in a way that means I don't have to be confrontational.
