The title of my artwork is Imperfecto and the medium is scratch board. The word imperfecto means imperfect. I thought of an instrument I've always wanted to play and I've always thought the violin was a beautiful instrument. I wanted to make some parts of the violin into a skeleton because I wanted the violin to be imperfect. I also added figures that look sad because we are not perfect and we all go through situations that can impact us. Another way I made my artwork imperfect was by adding bubbles in the background with thin and wide lines. The hatching in my artwork brought everything together by adding detail to the violin and the figures.

Exploring and expressing my creativity impacts my life because I can share my art with the people I love and who are close to me. When I am exploring my creativity whether it would be in nature, Pinterest, or social media I can create something that inspired me to do something of my own.
