Turn It Off

So many songs today are about falling in love, or romance, so my friend and I decided to write one entirely about the opposite thing. "Turn it Off" is a fantastic song about restricting one's self from letting in those very emotions. Last May, I was fiddling around with my guitar, and fell in love with what I had come up with. Lyrics and melodies have never been my strong-suit, so I reached out to my friend, Arya, who I knew also writes music. She then sent me the track with vocals and before we knew it, we had a great song. That same summer, the two of us went down to L.A. and recorded it at Echo Bar Studios. Only recently was our song fully completed. We are extremely proud of it, and its beautiful lyrics flow seamlessly with the instrumentals, creating an incredible medley.

Creativity, in my own words, would mean expressing one's self in any.....well, "creative" way. The idea of creativity is doing things that don't stick to tradition, or traditional customs that one would expect. As a blanket term, creativity is a form of the expression of one's heart and mind.
