This is a song for every artist who works hard everyday but still feels like they will never achieve their goals. I am a dedicated jazz saxophonist and was practicing four hours a day until all of my repertoire and college auditions got the better of me. The prospect of practicing for four hours and still not finishing my work made it incredibly difficult to pick up the saxophone, so I wrote this song instead. The life of an artist, especially one with so much passion that they can not fathom a world in which they fail, will never be easy. The challenges are hard, but the best part about being an artist is ultimately realizing that when your hard work pays off, it will all be ok. If we keep walking the path, very rarely will we reach the end, but it is guaranteed that one will experience the beauty of exploration along the way.

True creativity is being lost in time, consumed by the spirit that moves us. When you arrive at that dreamy headspace between reality and your own imagination, hard work comes naturally. Nothing is limited and your art can is an extension of your true self.
