Feeling Cheated

In “Feeling Cheated” Ally, Cameron, and Erika go to pick up their boyfriend, Lance, at the airport as a surprise. Upon finding out that they are all being cheated on, the women think up a scheme to unravel Lance and make him reveal his disloyalty. This screenplay is exceedingly entertaining and humorous, it turns tropes on their heads and makes you root for the characters. Its low-budget, with no special effects or exotic set. It uses humor in a fresh new way and makes the audience feel like they’re really a part of the action. This script is relatable and entertaining for all ages.

i miss you

This is an original song about my grandfather. He passed a few years ago when I was about 11 or 12. I wrote this song to help me release everything I was holding in. The lyrics speak for themselves, but throughout the song you can see I am struggling to process what has been happening around me, and I am learning that I should have been grateful for what I had when I had it.

Phantom

This photograph is part of my Exploring Darkness series. The figure is in motion; her hair is flowing around her. The overall pink and gray hue points toward a mixture of rosy innocence, the dark red blood of wounds, and the overlooking gray of impending death and decay. The girl appears as a phantom; one does now know whether she is dead or alive.

Ghosts on a highway

I used watercolor, Micron pens, and Gelly Roll jelly pens for this piece, inspired by a trend going around the internet where people would dress up as ghosts and take pictures with their friends.

In the Night

I wrote this song when I got my MIDI keyboard a few months ago. I felt inspired by all of the new sounds I could make with it. This resulted in a song with strong rhythm and layers. I wrote the lyrics during quarantine thinking about the things I enjoy doing with friends.

I Saw No Way by Jonathan Dove

“I Saw No Way” by Jonathan Dove is a four part treble voice piece with words from Emily Dickinson's “I Saw No Way the Heavens Were Stitched”. I used the “Acapella” app to layer my voice for each part and produced it myself on the app.

Seeing the Light

This photo is meant to show the beauty of something as simple as light shining through a tree. We spend so much of our lives buried in our phones and our own worries that we forget to look up and see all the beauty that surrounds us. This photo is just an example of what we would see if we looked up to see the wondrous world around us.

On and Off

This is a song I wrote during a time when I was in a very unstable friendship where it seemed like we were not going anywhere. It is about the slow burn out of feeling really close on day, but then the very next hearing something they said about you behind your back. Or not hearing from them for a long time and then making plans again. This song is in the music genre pop, however the performance I attached is an acoustic live performance in which I am playing my guitar and singing. I hope you enjoy!

Silence

Silence is an original song that channels the feelings of regret and loneliness that come with the ending of a relationship condemned by social norms. I wrote this song a couple of years ago, but recently resurrected it after finding it in my voice memos. This is a COVID-performance; I wish it could have been on stage but unfortunately these times call for performing at home instead!
