Girl in Monet’s Garden is a self portrait of myself, but altered to look like a woman in Monet’s time. The background is a recreation one of Monet’s Water Lilies paintings. By using different colored crayons, I was able to incorporate so much color and life into this piece. This was my second time ever doing a self portrait of myself since I am relatively new to creating art. This was so much fun to create and I am very proud of what I have achieved.

Creativity to me, is something that I value very much. I think a person’s ability to be able to come up with something beautiful is a wonderful quality. Whether creativity is used in art or in ideas, creativity is important for people to thrive.
