My artwork is about dealing with the changing environment and struggles that come with high school. With growing societal and academic pressure many teens find themselves feeling alone. My artwork demonstrates my experience of finding comfort in my own company in school. And understanding how being alone doesn’t necessarily mean that one is alone in their life. While acknowledging my own emotions and finding true fulfillment in the things I do. During the making of this piece, I wanted to show the different emotions and moods that represent me, that interact and accompany each other in a peaceful calm setting.

Creativity to me means expressing one’s ideas and emotions in one’s work. It is how far their imagination can go and their unique perspective on life. In my life, creativity is expressing my feelings and experiences through art using my ideas and creative visions.
