• Artist Statement

  I felt the need to replicate such a delicate and slimy creature. Immortalizing a banana slug into something completely foreign. Sturdy in his stillness and poise with the reality of his brittleness ever present. Despite his strength he didn’t deserve a useless burden in his middle so we decided to hollow him out. Ready to be a vessel of his own repertoire.
