• Artist Statement

  My piece is of a Varsity soccer player, Anar T., taken at one of our team's tournament games in Deer Valley. I learned the basics of photography in my multimedia art class and in turn applied what I learned out on the field with my personal camera, a Nikon 5200 with a 55-300mm lens. I followed the player along the field and tried to get action shots, and managed to capture this shot.

  It allows me to have an outlet to express myself through and gives me a way to share that with others.
