The artwork inhibits one of the world's serious problems called "Sea level Rises". The photo demonstrates the place we all going to live in if the sea continues to rise. Reading articles, books around the topic, hearing lands going to be swallowed by the sea in the very next decades has given me the fears of losing my favorite cities and places I wished to have a vacation in. The image was taken in San Francisco by 35 mm film after I got off the BART station. After the film got developed, I was stunned by how beautiful the city is and I ask myself a question, what is the city going to look like if the sea level keeps rising in the next many decades? I started to learn and taught myself the basics of photoshop, after many days of practice I have created the underwater scene. But the lighting and shadow were not right, with the knowledge of a 3-D artist I painted light and shadow layers over the image, giving it a little contrast and color adjustment to bring out the liveliness of the sea.

For me, creativity starts with your passion, the passion of pursuing your goals which helps you to see the world from varieties of different perspectives. Just passion is not enough, creativity acquired cognitive thinking and visualized and rearrange things in your head to create unique results.
