Puro veneno

This piece is inspired by nathy pelusos song ā€œpuro venenoā€, I played around with line variation, and hatching. I used fine tip pens for the entire piece, the micron pens I used were a 005, 0.1, 0.8, 0.2. Latin music has always played a large part in my upbringing and finding an artist who produced very traditional yet a modern style of latin music really resonated with me. Parts of the piece are directly based off the artist herself, and also inspired by her latest albulm.

Made for you

This piece was originally a prompt for an in class assignment, the prompt I choose was tension. I decided to depict the tension between two very connected people, the tension that is displayed depends on how the audience views the piece. I played with line work, and shading. The materials I used was micron fine tip pens, and the tips are a 005,0.1,0.2,0.8. This piece felt very personal but also slightly detached, it grew into its own and the two people depicted came into their own.

Garden of Denial

This drawing represents the first stage of the 5 stages of grief: Denial. The girl appears cheerful, despite the flowers withering and dying below her. The chrysanthemums and raven are also a symbol of death that is soon to arrive. No matter how much one tries to avoid the idea, death is still apart of life and is happening right under our noses whether we acknowledge it or not. It also shows how despite how happy one may seem, they could be going through a rough time.

Big Foot, Big Foot Jr.

This idea came to me during art class. We could do anything we wanted and I decided to do something no one has done before. I started working on this, and got more and more ideas as I went along. I was watching Judy Moody the night before and big foot was featured in that movie. When I got to class I thought that would be a fun idea. I am very proud of what has come out of this and hope to make more and more.

Psychedelic Skateboard

I have been working on my psychedelic skateboard for over a month. I have been doing smaller paintings of my style of artwork and since I love to skate I had decided to put it on a bigger canvas. I have gotten so many compliments about my skateboard that I have been wanting to do more of them, and to sell them.
